JAX STATE CAREER:
2023: Appeared in eight games for the Gamecocks after working back from injury early in the season … served as a key special teams player, as well as a reserve cornerback on the Jax State defense … recorded four tackles, two of which came in the FIU game.
2022: Played in all 11 games and made one start in the season opener against Stephen F. Austin…posted eight total tackles along with one pass deflection…collected a season-best two tackles from the defensive line spot in the SFA contest.
2021: Appeared in all 11 games for JSU…finished with 41 total tackles for the fifth most of any returning Gamecock in 2022…registered 27 solo tackles and 14 assisted takedowns…posted a career-high 11 tackles in the season finale at Eastern Kentucky…finished the year with four-or-more tackles in each of the last six contests…grabbed his first career interception at No. 1 Sam Houston on Oct. 23.
FALL 2020/SPRING 2021: Made appearances in three games in his first year at cornerback for the Gamecocks…recorded four unassisted tackles on the year, including two in his first-ever appearance and a tackle for loss against Southeast Missouri on March 2.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for head coach Clint Smith at Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Ala…a first-team all-state cornerback for the Golden Eagles after leading them to the AHSAA Class 4A State Championship Game, the school’s first-ever appearance in the title game…led JHS to a 12-3 record and a perfect 7-0 mark in 4A Region 6 play after posting a 7-0 region mark in 2018…also a first-team all-region and all-county selection…recorded 24 tackles, three interceptions, 10 pass breakups, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery on defense…on offense, had 37 receptions for 450 yards and 11 touchdowns…also returned a punt for a score and was a first-team all-county pick by the Anniston Star.
PERSONAL: Born on July 15, 2002, in Birmingham, Ala…the son of Kelvin and Gemini Sigler…has a younger brother – Kelvin, and a younger sister – Kelsie…father is the Gamecocks’ Safeties Coach…majoring in exercise science and wellness at JSU.
