JAX STATE CAREER:
2024: Played in 12 games with two starts...Finished with 31 tackles, 1.5 for loss, an interception, and a pass breakup...Had season-high five tackles in win over Southern Miss (9/21)...Intercepted a pass and broke up another in StaffDNA Cure Bowl (12/20).
2023: A Second-Team All-CUSA selection at cornerback, one of the Gamecocks’ top cover corners in 2023 … led the team and tied for third in CUSA in pass break-ups with eight – three more than the closest player on the Gamecocks … tied for sixth among all CUSA players in passes defended with eight … had a season-high eight tackles twice – at Coastal Carolina and vs. Western Kentucky … broke up three passes in the WKU game and two in the Coastal game … had five tackles in Jax State’s New Orleans Bowl win over Louisiana … played in all13 games … had 44 tackles on the year, including two tackles for loss.
2022: Appeared in 10 games with three starts at corner…started the first two games of the season and again on Oct. 29 at Austin Peay…finished the season with 14 total tackles and a assisted on one tackle for loss against Davidson…had a season-high three takedowns in back-to-back contests against Davidson and Murray State.
2021: Did not see action as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Chad Eads at Gardendale High School in Gardendale, Ala…led the Rockets to a 9-3 record and into the second round of the AHSAA Class 6A Playoffs as a senior in 2020…had five interceptions and scored five touchdowns for GHS, while recording 68 tackles and 15 pass break ups in his senior season…on offense, had 17 receptions for 405 yards…chose JSU over several offers that included Central Arkansas, Austin Peay, North Alabama, Chattanooga and UT Martin.
