JAX STATE CAREER
2023: One of three Gamecocks to start all 53 games for JSU as the Gamecock shortstop…earned All-ASUN Second Team honors…set the Jax State single-season stolen base record swiping 34 bags on 37 attempts…hit .311 finishing with 51 hits, four doubles, three triples and four homeruns…her 50 runs scored ranked fifth all-time for a single season at JSU…led the Gamecocks in assists (74) and fielding double plays (11)…in the field she recorded a .978 fielding percentage…hit a walk-off homerun to beat North Florida on April 2 to complete a three-game sweep for Jax State.
PRIOR TO JSU
Started all 18 games she played in as a freshman before an injury ended her season...finished the year leading the team in batting average (.397), slugging percentage(.603)and on-base percentage (.472)...had 25 hits over 63 at bats including four doubles, a team-high three triples and one home run...had 15 RBI and 16 runs scored, while stealing eight bases in nine attempts...hit her first home run against ETSU and had a season-high three RBI (3/9)...ended the year with a .947 fielding percentage at second base.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at White Plains High School...received All-State honors as a freshman, sophomore and junior...named All-District in 2016 and was the 2016 Female Athlete of the Year... In 2017,Jones earned the State Championship MVP and was named All-Conference... as a junior, the shortstop was named MVP after posting the highest batting average with a .500, most stolen bases (47) and most runs scored (52)...named to the All-Star North Team in 2019... Played travel ball for the NC Firecrackers... Senior season cut short due to COVID-19.
