JAX STATE CAREER
2022-23: Appeared in 16 matches for the Red and White…posted eight singles wins and was second on the team with 11 doubles victories…went 4-0 at the No. 4 singles position…had a team-best six triumphs in No. 3 doubles work…primarily played alongside Anna Syrova, with whom she went 10-1…was 5-0 with Syrova on court three and 4-1 on court two…picked up a 6-0, 6-0, singles win against Wallace State Community College on March 1…tallied a 6-4 victory with Syrova over Mississippi State on Jan. 20…had a 6-1 win with Polina Ramenskaja versus North Alabama in the First Round of the ASUN Tournament on Apr. 15...named a 2022-23 ITA Scholar-Athlete.
 
2021-22: Saw playing time in 19 of 20 matches as a freshman…finished second on the team with nine singles wins…was a mainstay in the No. 4 spot and earned a team-best four wins…added an additional four wins from the No. 5 and No. 6 positions combined…led Jax State in doubles win percentage at .466…was 3-0 in the No. 3 doubles spot…combined for three wins alongside Anna Syrova and was 3-0 in league play…made her Gamecock debut on Jan. 21 against Chattanooga, scoring a three-set singles win.

Attended Tapiola High School in Espoo, Finland...dominated the juniors tennis circuit in her home country...was considered the No. 3 doubles player nationally at the time of her signing...consistently ranked in the Top 10 for singles competitors in Finland.

Born July 29, 2002, in Espoo, Finland...the daughter of Hanne and Kari Tuomela...the youngest of four siblings...has two brothers and one sister...plans to major in Marketing at Jax State.
