Gamecocks Host North Florida for Sunday Afternoon Soccer Match

JACKSONVILLE – The Jax State soccer team takes on North Florida this Sunday at noon at the Jax State Soccer COmplex. Both teams are coming off of ties in their previous matches and will look to get back into the win column. Jax State is currently 1-2-2, and North Florida is 1-1-3.
This is only the second time these teams have met; the first match-up was won by the Ospreys, 1-0, in Jacksonville, Florida. The Ospreys defended home-field advantage in the previous match, and the Gamecocks will try to do the same in this match-up.
The Gamecocks have one of the best attacks in the CUSA, averaging 14.6 shots per game (third best) and 1.40 goals per game (third best). The attack is led by Emma Reeder and Michelle Hochstadt, who both have two goals apiece.
The Ospreys are one of the better passing teams having assisted on all but one of their goals this season, all assisted by different players. North Florida's attack is led by Paige McSwigan, who has three goals on the season.
The match is scheduled to begin at noon, from the Jax State Soccer Complex, and it will be televised on ESPN+.
