Biography

2011: Caught all 61 games for the Gamecocks as a junior, just the second catcher in school history to catch 60 or more games in a season…hit .276 with seven home runs, 11 doubles and 30 RBI, but did most of her damage in OVC play, where she hit .337 with six doubles and two homers to earn second-team all-conference honors…hit .429 vs. left handed pitchers and was a .320 hitter with runners in scoring position…from behind the plate, committed just three errors in 479 chances for a .994 fielding percentage and threw out 40 percent of runners trying to steal…had 11 multi-hit games, including back-to-back three-hit outings in a doubleheader vs. Morehead State on March 19…in the twinbill, went 6-for-8 with five RBI, four of which came in one game…stole three of her six bases in one game vs. SEMO on March 27.

2010: Started all 49 games behind the plate for the Gamecocks as a sophomore…was second on the team and fifth in the OVC with nine home runs, while finishing fifth on the team with a .297 batting average…recorded two doubles and 24 RBI, while posting a .507 slugging percentage…boasted a .979 fielding percentage after committing just six errors in 283 chances behind the plate…in OVC play, hit .273 with three home runs and 12 RBI…had a nine-game hitting streak from April 2-18, the second longest on the team during the season…notched nine multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games…on April 17 vs. Eastern Kentucky, went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and 5 RBI.

2009: Appeared in 30 games as a true freshman for the Gamecocks and was penciled in the starting lineup 17 times…hit .214 on the year with four doubles, one home run and 11 RBI, while scoring nine runs…earned starts at every infield position except shortstop during the season and committed just three errors in 74 chances…belted her homer, a three-run shot, in a win over Indiana State on March 8 at the Georgia Tech Buzz Classic, the first home run of her softball career…doubled and drove in two runs in her collegiate debut at South Alabama on Feb. 7…had one multi-hit game, a 2-for-4 effort at Kennesaw State on April 21.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four seasons for head coach Tony Ellis at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School…was a three-time First Team All-State performer for the Warriors…was named the team’s MVP after her senior season, when she hit .398 and guided her team to a 34-2 record and its second-straight region crown…a four-time selection to the Catoosa County Dream Team…was named to the Chattanooga Times Free Press Best of Preps Team in both her junior and senior seasons…participated in the North-South and the Tennessee-Georgia All-Star Games…played travel softball for the Tennessee Raiders and coach Jeff Martin.

PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 7, 1990, in Montgomery, Ala…the daughter of Steve and Shelly Crow…has two sisters, Amanda and Morgan… an honor student and member of the National Honor Society in high school…is majoring in nursing at JSU.
