HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Billy Duncan at Pisgah High School…one of the most prolific power hitters in state history, set the AHSAA and national records for home runs in a career and a single season…in her PHS career, belted 78 home runs, which stands as the state record, while the national record is 72, counting only her freshman through senior year totals…was named Alabama’s Miss Softball as a senior in 2011 after blasting 35 home runs, nine better than the previous state and national record of 24 set by Holly Currie in 2001…was the AHSAA Class 3A Player and Hitter of the Year in 2011, while also earning first team all-state accolades for the fourth-straight season…led the Eagles to the 3A state title as a freshman and a senior, while grabbing state MVP honors both times…as a senior, was a Super State selection after hitting .621 with 98 RBI…played on the North squad in the 2010 AHSAA All-Star Game.
