JSU CAREER
2010: Started all 12 games up front for the Gamecock defense as a junior…earned Second Team All-OVC honors after recording 46 tackles, 29 solo, three sacks and 6.5 stops for a loss…also recovered a fumble and returned it for a score in JSU’s upset of Ole Miss to open the season, his first career touchdown and fumble recovery…finished the Ole Miss win with four tackles, including a sack and a tackle for a loss...posted five tackles against Chattanooga...had a sack and a tackle for a loss in JSU’s win at Georgia State, his only two tackles in the game...registered six tackles, including a tackle for loss, in the Murray State contest...tied for the team lead with six tackles at UT Martin, while also recording a sack and two tackles for a loss...turned in four tackles versus Eastern Kentucky before notching six, including three for a loss, the next week vs. SEMO...finished with four tackles, including one for a loss, against Tennessee Tech…totaled a season-high seven stops, six solo and one for a loss, in the Gamecocks’ playoff game vs. Wofford.
2009: Saw action in seven of the Gamecocks’ 11 games, starting four at defensive end…recorded 30 tackles, 1.0 for a loss, while also being credited with two QB hurries…recorded a career-high six tackles in the season opener against Georgia Tech (9/5)...recorded six tackles, three solo, in his return against Eastern Illinois (10/24) after missing the previous four games due to an injury...recorded a career-high eight tackles, seven solo, at Austin Peay (10/31)...had three solo tackles against Southeast Missouri State (11/7)...had one solo tackle and two quarterback hurries (11/14)...in the season finale vs. Eastern Kentucky (11/21), assisted on six tackles, including one for a loss.
2008: Appeared in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a redshirt freshman, and earned the start at defensive end in the final nine games…picked up 30 tackles, 13 solo, on the year, while racking up a team-best five sacks and nine tackles behind the line of scrimmage…picked up two quarterback hurries…tied a career-high with four tackles, three solos, and had career-high two sacks against Tennessee State (11/5)...had one tackle assist versus Tennessee Tech (11/8)...recorded four tackles, two solos, and one tackle for a loss against Austin Peay (11/1)...made his fourth career start, posting four solo tackles against Murray State (10/18)...recorded three assisted tackles with a quarterback hurry against Eastern Kentucky (10/11)...had a career-high four tackles, three solos, and a tackle for loss against Southeast Missouri (10/4)...recorded two tackles, one solo, against Eastern Illinois (9/27)...had three tackles, two solo, against Alabama A&M (9/6)...made his JSU debut against Georgia Tech (8/28) after transferring from Southern Miss...recorded two tackles, one solo, and had one sack for a loss of three yards.
