JSU CAREER:
2011:
Saw action in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a junior, splitting time between the defensive backfield and at SAM linebacker…recorded 16 tackles, 14 solo, on the year…picked off one pass against Georgia State on Sept. 17, the game in which he made his debut at the SAM position and earned the start there…had two tackles seven times, including vs. Tennessee Tech on Oct. 29, when he also recorded a pass break-up…was voted the team’s “Best Singer.”

2010: Appeared in all 12 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore, starting the first 11at safety…earning First Team All-OVC honors, was sixth on the team in tackles with 49 and led the Gamecocks with five interceptions…his interception total was good enough to rank second in the OVC and 32nd in the nation…35 of his tackles were solo stops, while two of them were behind the line of scrimmage…opened the season with 10 tackles in JSU’s double-overtime win at Ole Miss…finished the win over the Rebels with eight solo stops and a tackle for loss...intercepted a Jeremiah Masoli pass and returned it 24 yards in the third quarter to spark JSU’s comeback...posted his second interception of the season against Georgia State along with a pair of pass break-ups and four tackles...set up a JSU touchdown with a 24-yard interception return against Eastern Illinois...finished with four tackles in the win over EIU...finished with seven tackles, including one behind the line of scrimmage, and a pass break-up against Murray State...picked off a UT Martin pass for 45 yards to set up JSU’s final TD of the opening half...finished with four tackles and broke up a Skyhawk pass...turned in his OVC-leading fifth interception of the season against Tennessee State, while also recording three solo stops in the shutout...made four stops, including a tackle for a loss against Southeast Missouri...registered six tackles at Tennessee Tech.

2009: Appeared in 10 of the Gamecocks’ 11 games as a redshirt freshman, earning his first career start at Southeast Missouri (11/3)…notched 25 tackles, 15 solo, while intercepting a pass, breaking up one and forcing a fumble…credited with a solo tackle in his JSU debut against Georgia Tech (9/5)...recorded two tackles at Florida State (9/12)...had a solo tackle against UT Martin (10/3)...had three tackles, one solo, against Murray State (10/10)...recorded first career interception versus EIU...recorded a season-high 10 tackles, five solo, and forced a fumble in his first career start against Southeast Missouri State (11/7)...had six solo tackles against Tennessee Tech (11/14).

2008: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Hazlewood High School for Aaron Goode…was a first-team All-Area and All-Region selection as a junior and senior…helped the Bears to a 12-1 record as a senior after finishing with 54 tackles, six interceptions and 14 pass break-ups…finished his four-year career with 114 tackles, 16 interceptions and 31 pass break-ups…was an honor student and class president.

PERSONAL: Full name is Keginald LaBrondon Harris…son of Tony and Freda Harris…born on Jan. 20, 1990…his father, Tony, played football at Mississippi State…majoring in marketing at JSU.
