2023: Honorable Mention All-CUSA Defensive Lineman in 2023 … one of the Gamecocks’ top interior linemen on a defense that leads Conference USA and ranks in the Top 20 in FBS in stopping the run … has a knack for getting the football, tied for the CUSA lead in fumble recoveries with two, while also forcing one fumble … second among the Gamecocks’ defensive linemen in tackles with 34, while also adding 4.5 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks … efficient at his position on a deep defensive line that rotates snaps among several players … recorded a season-high six tackles and forced a fumble in the regular season finale against NM State …had five tackles in a game twice – at Coastal Carolina and at Sam Houston.
2022: Saw action in all 11 games as a first-year Gamecock…finished with 15 total tackles, including 2.5 stops for a loss…credited with a season-high three tackles twice during the season against Davidson and Kennesaw State…registered a tackle for a loss versus Southeastern Louisiana.
PRIOR TO JAX STATE: Spent the 2018-21 seasons at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind…saw action in all 13 games as a true freshman in 2018, recording three tackles…saw action as a reserve in 2019 and 2021 and did not play in 2020.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for head coach Fred Riley at Davidson High School in Mobile, Ala…had 38 tackles and seven sacks as a senior in 2017, when the Warriors went 7-4 and advanced to the AHSAA Class 7A state playoffs.
