Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE — Jax State soccer head coach Corey Smith announced the 2026 schedule on Tuesday morning.
The schedule is highlighted with eight home matches, including matches against rivals Troy and Kennesaw State, along with a strong road schedule, including a match against the SEC's Auburn Tigers.
"I'm excited to get this schedule announced and get going," said Smith. "We were really deliberate this season to raise the intensity of our non conference schedule and test our squad before we head into the conference slate. Overall, our staff and players are very excited about this schedule and to take the next step in this process that we began a year ago!"
The season kicks off August 12th at home against the West Georgia Wolves, who Jax State opened with last season, capturing a 3-2 road victory in Carrollton to open the Smith era.
The following two matches are on the road, starting with a match at Auburn on August 16th, followed by a midweek match at Samford on August 27th.
The Gamecocks face a pair of Sun Belt schools in Troy and Southern Miss, hosting the Trojans on August 30th before heading to Hattiesburg on September 6th.
The Gamecocks come back home to face the North Florida Ospreys on September 6th before heading to Alcorn, Mississippi, to take on the Alcorn State Braves on September 10th.
The final three non-conference matches will see Jax State take on Alabama State on September 13th, before taking to the road to face Garnder-Webb on Boiling Springs, North Carolina, on September 16th, followed by a trip to the Volunteer State to take on UT Martin on September 20th.
Conference USA play begins with a Sunday match against Middle Tennessee on September 27th. This marks back-to-back seasons where the Gamecocks and Blue Raiders have opened conference play against each other.
Jax State takes to the road for the following week, facing off against Missouri State in Springfield on October 1st, then heading to South Beach to face FIU on October 4th.
A pair of home contests await Jax State in the following two weeks, starting with a meeting with rival Kennesaw State on October 10th. The Gamecocks will meet Sam Houston a week later on October 17th.
Two of the three final contests on the season will be on the road, starting with a road contest at Western Kentucky on October 22nd. Before the final contest, Jax State will host Delaware on October 25th for the home finale. The regular season concludes on Halloween night, when the Gamecocks travel to Las Cruces to take on New Mexico State.
The CUSA Championship will begin on November 8th with the quarterfinals, with the semifinals set for November 10th and the final set for November 13th. Delaware will host this year's CUSA Championship.
The Gamecocks will unofficially open the season with a scrimmage against UAB on August 5th in Jacksonville. The match is free and open to the public.
