Jax State Drops Contest at Auburn on Sunday Night

AUBURN, Ala. - The Jax State soccer team fell 5-0 against the Auburn Tigers in a non-conference match on Sunday night.
Jax State falls to 0-1-1 on the year, while Auburn claims its first win to improve to 1-0-1
Savannah Wolff compiled a shot on goal for the Gamecocks. All four shots were by different Gamecocks.
Ella Holmberg and Camdyn Magrosky combined for six saves with three each.
Auburn controlled from start to finish. In the first half, Dylan Driver started the scoring for the Tigers at the 12' mark, with Hannah Bell adding two more goals at the 36' and 42' to claim a 3-0 lead just before halftime.
The Tigers then added two more goals in the second half, first from Fizz Hutton in the 56', and Chloe Taylor in the 68' to close out the scoring for the night.
The Gamecocks' next match will be in Birmingham against the Samford Bulldogs on August 27th at 6 pm.
