One of just three players to see action in all 30 games for the Gamecocks in his junior season, mostly as a reserve…earned eight starts in the post…was second on the team and fourth in the OVC in blocked shots with 41, an average of 1.4 per game…averaged 1.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in an average of just under 15 minutes per contest…grabbed a season-high nine rebounds in his debut on Nov. 14 against West Alabama…scored a season-best five points twice, vs. Tennessee Tech on Dec. 5 and at Tennessee State on Feb. 17…blocked four shots in a game three times.

PRIOR TO JSU
Played his sophomore season for head coach David Franic at Southern University of Shreveport in Shreveport, La…led the Jags to a 21-7 record and a conference title… was an all-conference and All-Region 23 performer, averaging 11 points and nine rebounds per game and also garnering Conference MVP accolades…before going to Southern-Shreveport, spent two seasons at Division II Wayne State in Wayne, Neb…was redshirted in 2006-07 before serving in a reserve role for the Wildcats in 2007-08…appeared in 27 games, starting six, and averaged 2.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in just 15 minutes per outing.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played for head coach Larry McKenzie at Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis, Minn…was an all-conference player that led the Patriots to a second-place finish in their conference…as a senior, averaged 8.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game…also lettered in track.

Born on March 28, 1988, in East Chicago, Ind…the son of Robert Harris and Trina Jackson…has three brothers, Dwight Harris, Shane Jackson and DeAndre Jackson…is majoring in sociology at JSU.
