Prepped six years at Christian Brothers High School for head coach Bubba Luckett…was a finalist for Tennessee’s Mr. Basketball as a senior after averaging 18 points, nine rebounds and two assists per game…also earned first team all-state, all-district and all-region honors as a senior, while receiving Team and Region MVP accolades…was named to the City of Memphis Senior all-Star Team, and was an All-State and Best of Preps selection by the Commercial Appeal…over his career, averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists per game…also lettered in track and won the state title at Christian Brothers, where he was a first team all-district and all-region performer in the high jump…played AAU basketball for Memphis Magic Elite.
