One of just three players to play in all 30 games for the Gamecocks as a junior…was third on the team in scoring with 10.5 points per game after sinking a team-high 58 3-pointers…became JSU’s career 3-pointers made leader in Division I, finishing the season with 167 career treys, fourth all-time in school history…broke the school record for 3-pointers in a game with nine against Norfolk State on Dec. 15, the most in a game by an OVC player all season…shot 41 percent from behind the arc, 12th in the OVC, for his 10.5 points per game, third on the team and 21st in the OVC…his 1.9 3-pointers made per game ranked ninth in the league…dished 52 assists and averaged 3.5 rebounds per game…scored a season-high 27 points in that Dec. 15 game vs. Norfolk State, thanks to his nine treys in 14 attempts, a game he also grabbed seven boards in…scored in double figures 14 times, including a 19-point effort at Murray State on Jan. 14…pulled in a season-high nine rebounds against Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 7…dished five assists in a game twice…was a season-best 6-for-6 from the free throw line against Eastern Illinois on Jan. 30.

Started all 28 games for the Gamecocks as a sophomore…led the team in scoring with an average of 12.9 points per game, which ranked 13th in the OVC…connected on 68-of-175 attempts from behind the arc, a .389 percentage that was 12th in the OVC…averaged 2.4 3-pointers made per game, eighth in the league and 96th nationally…made .396 percent of his attempts from the floor, while also grabbing 3.6 rebounds per game…connected on a team-high .75 percent of his attempts from the charity stripe…had three of the team’s top four single game scoring performances…scored in double figures 20 times, including four 20-point efforts…poured in a career-high 28-points at Georgia Southern on Feb. 21, thanks to an 8-for-16 outing that included a 5-for-10 showing from behind the arc…had 24 points in a win over VMI on Nov. 29, a game that saw him shoot 9-for-13 from the floor and 5-for-7 from behind the arc…made three 3-pointers in a game four other times, including another 5-for-7 effort in a 26-point outing at SEMO on Jan. 29…grabbed a season-high eight rebounds twice and dished four assists three times, all in consecutive games…played all 40 minutes for JSU in three games.
2007-08
Saw action in 22 of the Gamecocks’ 29 games as a redshirt freshman, appearing in the starting lineup seven times…averaged 7.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game, while shooting .415 from the floor and .376 from behind the arc…stormed onto the scene in his collegiate debut on Nov. 9 at Georgia, when he scored 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field and a 3-for-7 effort behind the 3-point line…in his second game on Nov. 12 vs. Tennessee Temple, he was 7-for-15 from behind the 3-point line en route to 27 points…was named the OVC’s Freshman of the Week on Nov. 26 after he averaged 13 points and 5.5 rebounds…scored in double figures nine times, including five games of 15 or more points…pulled in a season-high seven rebounds on Nov. 24 at Central Arkansas to go along with 10 points…on Feb. 14 vs. Eastern Kentucky, scored 18 points, thanks to a 7-for-7 outing from the floor that featured a 4-for-4 showing from 3-point land.

Played three seasons for head coach Larry Davidson at Oxford High School in Oxford, Ala….an honorable mention all-state and first team all-region performer as a senior, averaged 24 points, five rebounds and two assists per game…led the Yellow Jackets to an area title and averaged 21 points and three rebounds per game over his career…named MVP of the Harris County Tournament.
