JSU CAREER: 2021: Appeared in 22 games for the while making 12 starts for the Gamecocks… made 10 starts at third base while also making starts at shortstop and left field in 2021…had 40 plate appearances…accumulating 10 hits in those plate appearances…hit his first Gamecock home run at Kennesaw State (Mar 24)…finished the year with a .250 batting average.
PRIOR TO JSU: Started his collegiate career at Coastal North Alabama Community College on the Monroeville campus…played for Kenny Dupont at CNACC…Played in 70 games for the Eagles, including 51 games as a freshman in 2019…the Eagles played in 19 games before the COVID-19 pandemic halted the season…posted a .322 batting average as a freshman, including 14 doubles and three home runs…had an on-base percentage of .427 and a slugging mark of .512…collected 28 career RBI on the juco level…earned 33 walks in two seasons in Monroeville…made 11 appearances combined on the mound at CNACC and recorded a pair of wins and two saves…finished with an earned run average of 1.26 in 28.2 innings of work for the Eagles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Theodore High School and played for Travis Williamson and Bo Smith at THS…Was a two-time Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A All-State selection in 2017 and 2018…helped the Bobcats reach the semifinals of the Class 7A AHSAA State playoffs in 2017…member of two Class 7A Area 1 Championship clubs.
