PRIOR TO JSU: Started his collegiate career in the junior college ranks at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi… saw action in 40 games as a sophomore, compiling a .351 batting average, bolstered by 13 home runs and driving in 37 runs…scored 51 runs and turned in eight stolen bases…was named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference First Team…helped ICC to a 25-15 record, 19-9 in the MACCC, won a playoff series, advanced to the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament and were ranked as high as 11th in the NJCAA rankings…played in 45 games and finished with a .317 batting average, 33 RBI, 32 runs scored, 12 steals, seven doubles, one triple and three home runs as a freshman in 2020…helped the Indians earn a conference championship and finished the season ranked No. 2 in the nation
