Biography

JSU CAREER: 2021: Started 39 games at shortstop for the Gamecocks while appearing in 41 games… had 140 plate appearances. Had two home runs on the season with 24 RBI on the season…turned in 5 multi-hit games on the season…registered five multi-RBI games including a four RBI game on the season… credited with 48 putouts and 93 assists in 149 chances at shortstop.

2020: Started all 15 games at shortstop for Jax State…had 64 plate appearances and recording 10 hits. Including a pair of extra base hits…finished with six RBI…turned in a multi-hit outing against Gardner-Webb (March 1)…strung together a five-game hitting streak before the season was halted…registered multi-RBI games against Missouri (Feb. 15) and versus Central Michigan (Feb. 22)…turned in a triple versus UAB (Feb. 19)…made just one error defensively in 77 attempts and tallied 31 putouts and credited with 45 assists…named to the 2020 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2019: Played an started all 62 games at shortstop…turned in a .286 batting average with 71 hits in 248 at bats…ranked third on the club in doubles with 14 and added four triples and a pair of home runs…posted 34 RBI and scored 42 runs…reached base 23 times via walk and twice by hit-by-pitch…also swiped four bases…turned in 22 multi-hit games and six games with multiple RBI…strung together a 14-game hitting streak along with a 16-game on-base streak…recorded a season-high three hits against Morehead State on May 25 in the OVC Championship game…scored three times and drove in a trio of runs versus UT Martin on May 6…accumulated seven assists in the Morehead State game on April 28.

2018: Claimed the everyday shortstop position as a freshman in 2018, playing in 55 games, missing two games at Tennessee Tech due to illness…was named to the 2018 OVC All-Freshman Team after posting solid numbers offensively and sound defensively…ranked third on the team in batting with a .306 average, including a slugging mark of .454 and a .389 on-base percentage…field at a .931 percent with 151 assists and 92 putouts…collected 66 total hits with 20 extra base hits as a freshman…delivered 48 RBI and scored 41 times…reached base 28 times via walk…recorded a season high four hits against Austin Peay on March 11…drove in four runs in the season finale against Eastern Kentucky (5/25/18) in the OVC Tournament at Choccolocco Park…turned in a pair of doubles versus Eastern Illinois on March 16…issued a walk three times in three different contests…finished with five home runs on the season, including a walk-off home run ato give JSU a win over Radford on February 23…posted 19 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI contests…ended the season on a season-best 11-game hitting streak…reached base in 25 consecutive games during the season.

High School: Prepped at Muscle Shoals High School in Northwest Alabama…played for Josh Fowler at MSHS…the Trojans' shortstop hit .400 last season with two home runs, 52 RBIs and 20 stolen bases… finished his junior season with 56 hits, including nine doubles and a triple…scored 33 runs for the Trojans and had a .521 slugging percentage and a .431 on-base percentage…helped the Trojans to the AHSAA Class 6A state playoffs after finishing the regular season with a 33-10 record…named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association's Class 6A All-State Baseball team as a designated hitter…named team MVP in 2015…member of the Viper Baseball Academy, a travel ball club in Alabama...plays with the Triton Rays Academy out of Montgomery, Alabama... played with the East Coast Baseball Organization out of Jackson, Mississippi, the summer of his sophomore season.
