(2013) Made 22 relief appearances in the mound…pitched 33 innings with a 5.18 ERA…allowed 22 runs and 19 earned runs…struck out 41 batters and walked 17 batters on the season…made his season debut against Southern Illinois…pitched 3.1 innings twice on the year…struck out five batters twice…threw 3.1 innings while striking out five batters against Southeast Missouri (4/26) and again against Morehead State (5/17) in 2.0 innings of work…also struck out four batters in 2.0 innings of work against Belmont (5/4).
 
(2012) Saw limited action, making five relief appearances on the mound…pitched 3.0 innings with an 12.00 ERA…allowed four earned runs and run runs…struck out one batter and walked one batter on the season…made his season debut against North Florida (2/24), pitching one scoreless inning…struck out a batter in one inning of work against UAB (3/21)…also made relief appearances against Kennesaw State (3/2), Northwestern (3/19) and Troy (3/27).
 
(2011) Sat out the season as a redshirt.
 
(2010) Saw limited action as a true freshman, making four relief appearances…pitched 4.1 innings with an 18.69 ERA…allowed 10 nine earned runs with eight strikeouts to just two walks…made his collegiate debut against Michigan (2/19), pitching 2.0 inning and gave up two earned runs…had his best outing of the season, where he pitched against Michigan State (3/11) for 1.0 inning and had three strikeouts…also pitched against Eastern Michigan (3/14) and Miami (Ohio) (3/20).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Cottage Hill Christian for Chris Brazell…posted a 3-1 record as a senior with a 1.97 earned run average...finished his career with an 11-1 overal record with a 1.86 ERA and 81 strikeouts…earned team Warrior Award…selected to play in the East-West Åll-Star game…also lettered in football and basketball…was an honor student and selected to the National Honor Society.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Michael Alton Mason…son of Mark and Shelia Mason…born on December 12, 1990…has one older sister, Shannon…list the Boston Red Sox as his favorite Major League Baseball team and Josh Beckett as his favorite player…major is Exercise Science at JSU.
