(2013) Appeared in 41 games, making 30 starts at catcher…finished with a .229 battering average with 25 hits and 15 RBI…tied for the team lead with four home runs and added seven doubles…appeared in 21 OVC games, making 15 starts…posted a .259 batting average in conference play with 14 hits and nine RBI…hit two home runs in OVC play and scored seven runs…hit a walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth inning to help JSU beat Eastern Illinois 2-1 on March 30…finished with eight multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games.
 
(2012) Appeared in 29 games, making 19 starts at catcher as a sophomore…finished with a .154 batting average with 10 hits and three RBI…made his first start of the season against Northwestern State (2/17)…drove in two runs against Eastern Kentucky (3/24)…was a season best 2-for-3 with one RBI against Troy (3/27)…drove in a run against Southeast Missouri (5/5)…was walked four times on the year and scored three runs.
 
(2011) As a true freshman, appeared in 33 games with 25 starts…finished with a .169 batting average with four doubles and 12 RBI…made his JSU debut at Auburn (2/22), where he drove in a run on a SAC fly…made his first collegiate start behind the plate vs Kennesaw State (2/23)…recorded his first hit at Middle Tenneseee (2/27), going 1-for-3 with a RBI…drove in two runs vs Harvard (3/6)…was 2-for-2 vs Southern Illinois (3/12)…also had two hits at Murray State (4/9), where he drove in a pair of runs…was 2-for-4 at Troy (5/3)…finished season with three multiple-hit games.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at North High School for Ron Yerby and Richard Hurt…was an All-State player as a senior after helping team post a 24-6 record…was team Most Valuable Player his junior and senior years…was a three-time All-District selection…finished his four-year career with a .331 batting average and 14 home runs…also lettered in football, where he was an All-Area and All-Conference selection…helped the Cougars post an 8-4 record his senior year in football.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Stephen Ross Bartlett…son of Greg and Monica Bartlett…has one older brother, Gregg, and two sisters, Jami and Brianna…lists the 27-time World Champion New York Yankees as his favorite Major League Baseball team and his favorite player is Robinson Cano…majoring in Industrial Technology Management and Occupational Safety and Health at JSU.
