OUTLOOK: One of the strongest hitting players on the team…has a tremendous amount of power…was injured throughout the fall and was limited defensively, but still should be in the mix at DH…can hit the ball farther than any other player on the team…if she stays healthy, can have a very good college career.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons at Thompson High School before finishing her career with two seasons at Shelby County High School…was named the Wildcats’ Team MVP as a junior, when she also won the team’s Best Offensive Player honor…was an all-district player in each her freshman, sophomore, junior and senior seasons…also lettered in volleyball in high school.
PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 23, 1990, in Birmingham, Ala…the daughter of David and Susan Sellers…has one brother, Garrett, and one sister, Jessica…was an honor student at SCHS…is undecided on a major at JSU.
