Biography

JSU OUTLOOK: Enters the fall as the starting long snapper…also expected to add depth at the tight end position.

JSU CAREER:
2010: Served as the team’s long snapper in all 12 games as a junior…notched a pair of solo tackles on special teams…saw action as a reserve on offense.

2009: Was the Gamecocks’ starting long snapper in all 11 games as a sophomore…recorded two solo tackles on special teams…also saw limited action at tight end for the JSU offense.

2008: Played in all 11 games as a true freshman and served as the long snapper in every game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Opelika High School for Spence McCracken…was an All-Region selection in football, where he helped the Bulldogs post a 10-3 record his senior season…also lettered in baseball, where he was an All-Region honoree and helped the team to a state runner-up finish with a 43-4 record his senior year…prepped with JSU teammate Brooks Robinson.

PERSONAL: Full name is Brandon Michael Rogers…son of Dean Rogers and Shelley Rogers…born on July 26, 1989…has two brothers, Chris and Parker, and one older sister, Amber…majoring in secondary education at JSU.
