JSU CAREER:
(2014): JSU top-returning pitcher after another stellar junior season on the mound…enters his final season as a Gamecocks ranked second on the Ohio Valley Conference’s career saves list with 32 through three seasons…recorded a 15 saves in 2014 and helped the Gamecocks make a remarkable run through the 2014 OVC Tournament to claim the 2014 crown…named to the league’s First Team along with a member of the All-Tournament Team… the entire pitching staff was named the tournament's most valuable player after allowing just 15 runs over 63.0 innings to post a 2.14 earned run average, while posting a 6-1 record with four saves…did not allow a single hit in six innings on the mound during JSU’s OVC postseason run and collected all four of Jax State’s saves…­posted a 3-1 record and made 27 appearances on the bump…allowed just eight earned runs in 39.2 innings pitched…tallied 29 strikeouts…finished with an earned run average of 1.82


(2013): Named to the Louisville Slugger Pre-Season Third-Team All-American by Collegiate Baseball...also named Second Team All-OVC and was a Louisville Slugger Third-Team All-American selection after setting a school record with 17 saves and the school’s Division I record for earned run average in a single season at 1.42…appeared in a team-high 31 games on the mound and posted a 3-0 record…in OVC play, appeared in 16 games and recorded 12 saves with a 0.49 ERA…opposing batters hit just .213 against him…struck out 29 batters in 31.2 innings of work…gave up 23 hits and just five earned runs…pitched 18.1 innings in OVC play…struck out 17 batters while giving up 13 hits and just one earned run…struck out a season-high three batters in one inning of work against Eastern Illinois on March 29…piched two innings against Murray State on April 12th to earn his 9th save of the season.
 
(2012): Named to the 2012 Ohio Valley Conference All-Freshman team after appearing in 27 games, making three starts…posted a 5-1 record and a 4.44 ERA in 48.2 innings of work…allowed 42 hits, 27 runs, 24 earned runs with 37 strikeouts and 24 walks…held opponents to a team-best .232 average…recorded his first career win in his first career start, going 4.2 innings at Kennesaw State (4/17)…pitched a season high 4.2 innings against Murray State (4/22) to earn his second win…struck out a season high four batters in 4.0 innings of work to earn the win against Alabama State (5/1)…made 11 relief appearnces in OVC play…posted a perfect 3-0 record in OVC games as conference foes hit .286 vs the RHP.
 
JSU CAREER: Sat out the 2011 season as a redshirt.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Holy Innocents Episcopal School for Dylan Deal and Jay Hood…was an All-State selection his senior hear after batting .456…was also a three-time All-District selection…was named team Most Valuable Player and won the Cy Young team pitching award…finished his career with a .389 batting average…also a member of the East Cobb 16-year old National Championship team.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Travis Blake Stout…son of Jeff and Kim Stout…born on March 26, 1992…has two younger sisters, Sydney Ann and Bella…lists the Atlanta Braves as his favorite Major League Baseball team…majoring in marketing at JSU.
