HIGH SCHOOL:   Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Ga. …played for Stan Fricks at OCHS…a talented left-handed pitcher in the Georgia prep ranks…turned in a 11-0 record on the bump as a sophomore and suffered just one loss as a junior…surrendered less than a run as sophomore with a 0.86 earned run average…was named honorable mention Player of the Week by the Oconee Leader during his 11th grade season…participated in travel ball with the Southern Prospects Baseball program and the Southeast Baseball organization from 2010-2014…coached by Dave Grove and Adam Brandenburg in those programs…a stellar student in the classroom with a 3.7 grade point average and an honor student at OCHS…also participated in swimming at OCHS.

PERSONAL: Full name is Payton Anderson…son of Bill and Susan Anderson…born on September 1, 1995…has an older brother, Ian…lists the Atlanta Braves as his favorite Major League Baseball team…majoring in business at JSU.
