JSU CAREER:
2015: Was JSU’s primary placekicker in all 15 games during the season…accounted for 116 points for the second best individual total on the team…was 17-for-27 in field goal attempts…was named OVC Specialist of the Week after the season opener at Chattanooga where he was 5-for-5 in kicks including three field goals beyond thirty yards…nailed a season long from 41 yards against Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 31…went 65-for-68 in PATs…was a perfect 8-of-8 in PATs against Southeast Missouri on Nov. 14…went 7-for-7 in three other games…had 19 touchbacks and a 58.4 yard average in 100 kickoffs…during the national championship game was 2-for-2 in kicks including a 26-yard field goal and recorded his highest touchback-to-kickoff percentage (66%) of the season.
2014: Served as the team’s placekicker in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman…led the Gamecocks in scoring with 86 points…his 7.2 points per game tied for sixth in the OVC and third among kickers…handled all placekicking duties…was 53-for-55 on PAT attempts and 11-for-17 on field goals…was 3-for-3 inside 30 yards and 7-for-9 inside 40 yards…kicked off all 77 times, allowing less than an average of 20 yards per return…never allowed a return longer than 45 yards…made a season-high eight PATs in eight attempts against Austin Peay on Nov. 1, one week after going 7-for-7 against Tennessee Tech…made a season-long 48-yard field goal on Nov. 8 at Eastern Kentucky…also made seven PATs in seven tries at Southeast Missouri on Nov. 22.
2013: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years at Peachtree Ridge High School, the last two for head coach Mark Fleetwood…played his first two seasons for the Lions under head coach Bill Ballard.
PERSONAL: Full name is Connor Thomas Rouleau…born on April 19, 1995, in Lawrenceville, Ga…the son of Jeff and Wendy Rouleau…has a younger brother, Kyle…majoring in business at JSU.
