2015: Made his JSU debut in the season opener at Chattanooga…saw action in seven games during the season… was a reserve on an offensive line that led the way for an offense which set a single season school record for total offense with 7,613 yards.
2014: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coaches Steven Kirby and Keith Register at Hayden High School…rated a two-star prospect by rivals.com…Played in the National Underclassmen All-American Game in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where he was named the NUC Offensive Lineman of the Year…an honor student that holds a 3.9 GPA…chose JSU over South Alabama, Army, Samford, Middle Tennessee, Murray State, UAB, Harvard and Western Kentucky.
PERSONAL: Full name is Tyler Jackson Swindle…was born on February 5, 1996…is the son of Glennette Loyek and Ernie Swindle…has one sister, Taylor…majoring in finance at JSU.
