JSU CAREER:
2015: Played in 14 of JSU’s 15 games in his first year with the Gamecocks…made six starts with the first coming at No. 6 Auburn where he made three tackles…recorded consecutive five-tackle games at UT Martin and versus Mississippi Valley State to set a single game high…finished the season with 32 tackles including 4.5 for losses…had 2.5 sacks for a loss of 18 yards…recorded pass breakup against Chattanooga in the playoffs and recovered a fumble in the semifinals against Sam Houston State.
PRIOR TO JSU: Started his collegiate career at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas…played for head coach Brain Mayper…played in 10 games as a sophomore…recorded 12 career sacks in two seasons with the Bulldogs and credited with six in 2014…helped NC reach the Southwest Junior College Football Conference semifinals in 2013 and in 2014 and finished the season at 7-4…NC concluded the season ranked 14th in the final NJCAA Poll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished on the prep level at Sanderson High School in Raliegh, N.C.…played for head coach Ben Kolstad.
PERSONAL: Born August 3, 1993, in Nairobi, Kenya…son of Ziipa Ayarq…has two older siblings…majoring in computer science.
