JSU CAREER: 2016: Appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt junior while starting the season’s first 11…finished the year with 41 total tackles, including 1.5 for a loss…recovered a fumble against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 29…recorded lone interception at Murray State on Nov. 12…credited with a quarterback hurry at Eastern Kentucky on Oct. 22…finished the year with three pass breakups…set a caree high in tackles with seven at LSU on Sept. 10…recorded two-or-more tackles in 10 games, including five-or-more in four of those.
2015: Saw action in 13 games as a redshirt sophomore…recorded 15 tackles, including three solo stops against SEMO…intercepted a pass against Tennessee State.
2014: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
PRIOR TO JSU: Played one season (2012) at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa for Coach Vince Brautigam…played in 10 games for the Rams and started eight of those contests…caught 49 passes for 625 yards in his lone season at CC, ranking third on the team in receptions…caught three touchdown passes and averaged 62 yards receiving per game…also participated on special teams with 15 kickoff returns, compiling 296 yards.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at East Saint John in Reserve, La…a four-year starter for the Wildcats…a two-time All-State, All-District and All-Region selection in 2011 and 2012…tabbed to the River Parish All-Star Team.
