Biography

JSU CAREER: 2016: Missed the season with a knee injury.

2015: Saw action in nine games for the Gamecocks…made three receptions for 28 yards…he had two catches for 15 yards at UT Martin on Sept. 26…was a part of the receiving corps which helped the Gamecocks set new single-season school records in both pass receptions (256) and receiving yards (3102).

2014: Redshirted after missing the entire season with an injury.

2013: Appeared in seven games as a true freshman for the Gamecocks…caught a pair of passes for 33 yards and a touchdown…his touchdown catch was a 35-yard toss from Kyle West in the second quarter at Tennessee Tech on Oct. 26.

HIGH SCHOOL: A standout wide receiver for head coach Ronnie Cottrell at Godby High School in Tallahassee, Fla…hauled in 43 catches for 602 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Cougars to the FHSAA Class 5A State Championship as a senior in 2012, earning him first team all-district and second team All-State honors…averaged 14 yards per catch as a senior…played in the Florida-Georgia All-Star Game and earned the GHS Coaches’ Award…in his junior and senior seasons, combined for over 1,100 yards and 14 touchdowns on 75 catches…had his best game against Orange Park in his junior season, when he caught eight passes for 158 yards.

PERSONAL: Full name is Earl Wayne Calloway, Jr…son of Kim Floyd and Earl Calloway…has a sister, Brionne…born on September 17, 1994, in Tallahasee, Fla…majoring in psychology with a minor in business at JSU.
