JSU CAREER: 2016: Appeared in nine games during his first season as a Gamecock…earned All-OVC First-Team honors…selected as the OVC Newcomer of the Week on four different occasions…finished the season with 782 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 127 carries…also recorded 16 receptions for 173 receiving yards and one touchdown…finished the year with 955 all-purpose yards…set a career high in rushing touchdowns with three in his first game at JSU in its season opener against North Alabama on Sept. 1 before later matching the mark at Murray State on Nov. 12…went over the century mark in rushing yards in a game on four different occasions…set a career-high in rushing yards in a game when he had a 165-rushing yard, 3-rushing touchdown performance on just 10 carries against the Racers…ran for 144 yards in a Top 25 Showdown against Coastal Carolina on Sept. 17…set a career-high in all-purpose yards with 180 when he ran for 111 yards and had 69 receiving yards at Liberty on Sept. 24. 

PRIOR TO JSU: Enrolled in June of 2016 after transferring from Auburn, where he tallied up 475 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and caught 17 passes for 227 yards in two years with the Tigers.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Oxford High School under current Jacksonville State head coach John Grass…rated No. 2 running back in the nation by Rivals and was ranked in the top five at his position by Scout, 247Sports and ESPN…was named the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s Mr. Football and the Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year after rushing for 2,211 yards, scoring 32 touchdowns and averaging 9.8 yards a carry during his senior year as a Yellow Jacket.
