2019: Appeared in all 12 games...recorded three tackles on the year...his one tackle with assistance came for a loss of 2 yards against Southeast Missouri State.
2018: Made appearances in 12 out of 13 games in his first full year at Linebacker for the Gamecocks...Recorded 7 tackles for the year including 5 unassisted and 2 with assistance... Made his first career tackle as well as his first unassisted tackle in the 2018 home opener against Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 8... Had a career high day against Tennessee State on Nov. 10 where he made 3 tackles including 1 unassisted and 2 with assistance.
2017: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Dadeville High School…played for head coach Richard White…helped the Tigers to three straight state playoff appearances, including a trip to the third round in 2013…DHS claimed the Class 4A Region 3 Championships and an 11-2 overall mark.
PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 18, 1998, in Dadeville, Ala…the son of Tammy Russell…majoring in finance at JSU.
