JSU CAREER: 2016: Appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt sophomore…rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on just 16 carries, threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns on 6-of-7 passing and credited with 12 tackles…recorded his first career passing touchdown against Tennessee Tech on Oct. 8 before tossing his second at Southeast Missouri on Nov. 5…rushed for his first touchdown on the ground against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 29…set a career high in tackles with four against UT Martin on Nov. 19…recorded three multi-tackle games…had three tackles at LSU on Sept. 10…rushed for a career high 55 yards on five carries against the Redhawks…threw for a career high 55 yards on 4-of-5 passing against the Redhawks.
2015: Moved to quarterback in the spring after spending the 2015 season at linebacker…appeared in 13 games and recorded 24 tackles…returned a kickoff against Charleston Southern in the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs…recorded a solo sack against Mississippi Valley State…finished the season with 1.5 tackles for loss.
2014: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for his father, Coach Danny Horn at Benjamin Russell High School…helped the Wildcats to a 10-2 season and claimed the Class 5A Region 2 Championship for the second consecutive year…BRHS advanced to the second round of the state playoffs…the Wildcats’ defense allowed just 10. 1 points per game, while the offense registered 41.8 points on the scoreboard.
