JSU CAREER: 2020: Did not see action as a freshman…named to the 2020 OVC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Rockmart High School…coached by Kenny Yanzetich…helped RHS to the 2019 Region 7AA championship and a spot in the Class AA state playoffs…a two-sport athlete at RHS as he played quarterback for the Yellow Jackets and led the team to the 2018 Class AA state championship game…tabbed the 7-AA Player of the Year as a senior…turned in a .442 batting average in his final season on the prep level…finished with 29 RBI and 24 walks in 2019…collected many postseason honors after a solid junior season with All-Region status, a member of the Rome New Tribune All-Area Team, Al-State Honorable Mention recognition…awarded the Yellow Jacket Award, which is the highest honor bestowed upon a RHS baseball player…named to the Perfect Game Preseason All-American Honorable Mention list in 2019…named to three PG All-Tournament Teams with the East Cobb Yankees…also played football at RHS and led the program to 32 wins as a starting quarterback…earned 2018 Region 7-AA Offensive Player of the Year award and claimed the 2018 Georgia Sports Writers Association Offensive Player of the Year honor.
