JSU CAREER:
2009: Played in all 11 of the Gamecocks’ games and started 10 at tight end as a junior…was a second team All-OVC selection after hauling in six passes for 42 yards and proving to be a solid blocker on the end for JSU…caught one pass for five yards versus Georgia Tech (9/5) and earned his first start of the season with one reception at Nicholls State (9/26)...caught a career-high two passes for a career-high 17 yards with a season-long play of 12 yards against Eastern Illinois (10/24)...caught two passes for 13 yards at Austin Peay (10/31).
2008: Saw action in 10 games…finished the year with two catches for 10 yards…had a reception against Georgia Tech and at Tennessee Tech (11/8)…made on assisted tackle against Austin Peay (11/1)…finished the season with 11 pancake blocks and nine knock downs.
2007: Played in nine games at tight end…made one catch for 15 yards in win over Murray State…also had six knockdowns and three pancake blocks versus Murray State.
2006: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at W.S. Neal High School for three years for Shane Smothers.
