JSU CAREER:
2009: Played in 10 of the Gamecocks’ 11 games as a junior, making his first-career start at Nicholls State (9/26)…tied for fourth on the team with 15 catches for 270 yards, also fourth-best on the squad…had one touchdown pass and averaged 18 yards per catch...caught two passes against Georgia Tech (9/5), Alabama A&M (9/19) and Nicholls State...had two catches for a career-high 70 receiving yards at Alabama A&M that included a 51-yard TD reception...caught two passes for 32 yards against Eastern Illinois (10/24)...caught two passes for 26 yards in the season finale vs. Eastern Kentucky (11/21).

2008: Played in seven games as a reserve receiver and on special teams…caught three passes for 25 yards with a long of 13 yards…had two catches for 12 yards with a long of seven versus Chattanooga (9/20)…caught one pass for 13 yards against Tennessee Tech (11/8).

2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Elba High School for Scott Rials…was named team Most Valuable Player his junior and senior years…voted Most Valuable Special Teams player…was a nominee of the Wendy’s Heisman Award…was a Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Award nominee…was the recipient of the United State Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award…finished his senior season with 26 catches for 619 yards and nine touchdowns…also had four special team touchdowns, including two punt returns and two kick returns…finished with 1,153 yards on 55 catches during his career with 18 touchdowns…helped the Tigers post back-to-back state playoff appearances, which was the first time in more than 10 years.

PERSONAL: Full name is Aubrey La’Ray Linger Williams…son of A.R. and Bessie Williams…born November 16, 1987…has three sisters, ShaKeitha, Chastity and Aubretta…majoring in exercise science and wellness and will graduate in December of 2010.
