2007: Appeared in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a freshman and earned the starting nod at the team’s fullback position in the final six games of the season…carried the ball 43 times for 140 yards and a touchdown, while also catching eight passes for 44 yards…made his collegiate debut in the Sept. 1 season opener at Alabama State, when he ran for 18 yards on four carries…carried the ball eight times for a season-high 47 yards against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 22…scored his first career touchdown at Memphis on Sept. 15, a one-yard run in the fourth quarter…returned two kickoffs on the season, his first for 32 yards at Alabama State…caught a season-high four passes at Memphis.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Trent Taylor at Straughn High School…was team captain both as a junior and senior…named team Most Valuable Player as a senior…finished his career with more than 3,000 rushing yards, 1,000 passing yards, 1,000 receiving yards, 80 touchdowns and 12 interceptions…rushed for 780 yards as a senior and had 350 yards receiving and combined for 30 touchdowns…also lettered in basketball, where he was team captain…voted class president…is an honor student, named to the National Honor Socieity and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
