JSU CAREER:
2009: Appeared in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a junior, starting eight at the SAM linebacker position…tied for fifth on the team in tackles with 40, 18 solo and 222 assisted…had 3.0 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, while being credited with a pair of QB hurries and one pass broken up…had three tackles, one solo, versus Georgia Tech (9/5)...second on the team with a season-high seven tackles and two quarterback hurries against Alabama A&M (9/19)...posted two tackles, one for a loss, at Nicholls State (9/26)...credited with four tackles, three solo, versus UT Martin (10/3)...had nine tackles, four solo, against Southeast Missouri State (11/7)...had six tackles, three solo, against Tennessee Tech (11/14)...in the season finale vs. Eastern Kentucky (11/21), had two tackles.
2008: Made an immediate impact in his first season with the Gamecocks, amassing 58 tackles, 26 solo, to finish third on the team in stops…had a team-high 10 tackles for a loss, including one sack…also recorded two quarterback hurries and forced a fumble…recorded a career-high 13 tackles, including seven solos and two tackles behind the line, and a fumble forced against Tennessee State (11/15)...registered seven tackles, three solos, and had two tackles for loss versus Tennessee Tech (11/8)...had nine tackles, six solos, and one tackle behind the line versus Austin Peay (11/1)...posted eight tackles, three solos, against UT Martin (10/23)...credited with four tackles, two solos, and a quarterback hurry versus Eastern Kentucky (10/11)...recorded four tackles, three solos, versus Eastern Illinois (9/27)...had one tackle against UTC (9/20)...recorded two tackles, one behind the line for three yards against Alabama A&M (9/6)...made his first start as a Gamecock in the season opener against Georgia Tech (8/28)...led the Gamecocks with a game-high seven tackles, including one sack for a two-yard loss.
OTHER COLLEGES: Led Itawamba Community College with 74 tackles in sophomore in 2007…made 11.5 tackles for loss with two sacks and two forced fumbles…spent the 2006 season at Florida State, where he was redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Mike Wright at Dougherty High School…was a four-year lettermen, where he helped the Trojans to the Region Championship and a 13-2 record as a senior…was named first-team All-State and first-team All-Region as a senior after finishing with 152 tackles, four sacks and one interception…earned the John Reynolds Award as the Best Player in South Georgia as a senior.
