JSU CAREER:
2009: Played in all 11 games for the Gamecocks as a junior and started the final eight at right guard…helped guide an offensive line that was instrumental in guiding the JSU offense that led the OVC in total offense and rushing offense…graded out at 68 percent after being on the field for 343 snaps…recorded 28 knockdowns and four pancake blocks, while not allowing a sack.

2008: Played in seven games as a reserve offensive lineman…made his JSU debut in the Georgia Tech game (8/28) as a defensive lineman, but was moved to the offensive line after the Alabama A&M game (9/6)…totaled 30 snaps on the season, grading 70 percent overall, 67 percent on run plays and 71 percent on pass plays…did not allow a sack in nine pass plays…graded a season-best 77 percent against Southeast Missouri State (10/4).

2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

OTHER COLLEGES: Played one season for Bobby Ross at West Point for Army…saw limited action as a freshman in 2006.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Vestavia Hills High School for Buddy Anderson…was a Second-Team All-State selection as a senior…was a first-team All-Area and First-Team All-Region selection…helped the Rebels to an undefeated Region Championship in 2003 after posting a 12-2 mark…finished with a career record of 26-10…was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

PERSONAL: Full name is Justin Morris Kay…son of Morris and Allison Kay…born on August 9, 1987…has one younger sister, Savannah…majoring in Criminal Justice at JSU.
