JSU CAREER: (2009) Sat out the season as a redshirt.

(2008) Played in all 11 games and finished with 297 yards on 23 receptions with two touchdowns…tied his career-high with five receptions for 46 yards versus Tennessee State (11/15)...set career-highs in receptions with five and receiving yards with 77, including a 29-yard touchdown grab against Tennessee Tech (11/8)...had two receptions for a career-high 51 yards, including a career-long 43-yard reception versus UT-Martin (10/23)...caught one pass for 14 yards against Murray State (10/18)...had two receptions for 21 yards with a long of 13 yards against Eastern Kentucky (10/11)...set career-highs with three receptions for 31 yards and an 11-yard touchdown reception against Southeast Missouri (10/4)...caught a 15-yard pass on a key third down conversion to set up JSU’s third touchdown in the first half against Eastern Illinois (9/27)...had two receptions for 20 yards with a long of 16 against Alabama A&M (9/6)...made his first start as a Gamecock against Georgia Tech (8/28)...caught two passes for 17 yards with a long of 14 yards.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Played at Itawamba Community College for Jeff Terrill…was a two-year lettermen for the Indians…was an honorable-mention All-State selection as a seopohomore, where he averaged 37.3 yards per kick return and 29.3 yards per punt return…helped team to a 7-3 record before falling in the state semi-finals…had his best game of the year against Mississippi Delta, where he had six catches for 114 yards and two punt returns for 88 yards…in the season-opener, he returned a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown in a 20-10 win over Southwest…Indians won eight straight regular-season games and ranked as high as No. 15…was selected for the North-South All-Star game…as a freshman, earned second-team All-State honors and led the state with a 42.3 average on kick returns, including a 94 yard kick return for a touchdown…had 27 catches for 387 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Played for Eric Collins at Tupelo High School…was a four-year letterman…was named team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior in 2006 after earning second-team All-State honors and was first-team All-Region selection…had 27 catches for 416 yards as a senior and had four punt returns for touchdowns…was named to the Daily Journal’s first-team…was selected to play in the North-South All-Star game as a senior…also lettered in track, where he won the 110 mm hurdles as a senior in 2006 and was the state runner-up in 2005…was an honor student and graduated with distinction…named Who’s Who Among American High School Students…named the Tupelo High School Male Athlete of the Year in 2006 and also selected to the school’s Hall of Fame in 2006.

Full name is Jeffrey Ryan Cameron…son of M.D. Cameron and Mattie Cameron…born on February 11, 1988…has one younger sister, April…his cousin, Chris Porter, is currently playing in the Canadian Football League…majoring in Business Management at JSU.
