JSU CAREER: 2018: A very serviceable arm out of the bullpen for the Gamecocks…made 29 appearances out of the bullpen…made his Jax State debut on opening weekend against Southern Illinois on February 17…turned in a season high 5.2 innings of work in JSU’s 12-6 win in 11 innings at Florida International on March 2…tallied four strikeouts in the FIU contest and held the Panthers to just two hits en route to the win…matched the four strikeout outing at FIU with a solid 2.1 innings of work and four strikeouts versus Austin Peay in the opening game of the 2018 OVC Baseball Tournament…picked up his first win against Radford on February 23 after pitching 2.1 innings…registered 43 strikeouts on the season in 44.1 total innings…allowed 20 earned runs and a season earned run average of 4.06.

Prior to JSU: Started his career at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama…made 18 appearances on the mound, including a pair of starts for the Buccaneers…finished his sophomore campaign with a 5-2 record and compiled over 43 innings of work…accumulated 44 strikeouts and an earned run average of 2.91…allowed 14 earned runs, including just four in Alabama Community College Conference games-only…helped SSCC finish third in the ACCC North Division with a 16-11-1 league mark…the Bucs finished 30-26-1 overall.

High School: Prepped at Trussville High School, just outside of Birmingham, Alabama…played for Jeff Mauldin…member of the Huskies club that reached the 2013 Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A State Championship series before falling to Pelham High School…HTHS advanced to the second round of the AHSAA state playoffs in 2014.
