JSU CAREER: 2018: JSU’s No. 1 starter throughout the season after coming off an arm injury that cost him most of the 2017 season…finished the season with a 7-2 overall mark with five of those wins coming against Ohio Valley Conference competition...named to the 2018 All-OVC Second Team after tossing 90.0 innings and accumulating 107 strikeouts…finished with an earned run average of 3.80 after allowing 38 earned runs in his 15 appearances on the mound…nearly tossed a complete game on three occasions with 8.0 innings of work against OVC foes Southeast Missouri (4/13/18), at Belmont (4/20/18) and versus UT Martin (5/11/18)…collected a career-high 12 strikeouts in the UTM outing and fanned 10 in the SEMO and Belmont contests respectively…posted 11 strikeouts at SIU Edwardsville (5/17/18)…went five or more innings in 12 of the 15 appearances.

(2017): Started only three games as a sophomore and cumulated a 3.75 earned run average in 12.0 innings pitched while allowing only five earned runs, striking out 14 and walking only three … suffered an early arm injury, sidelining him for the 2017 season…did not surrender a home run, hit a batter or throw a wild pitch … allowed only one run through five innings against Florida International and then two runs against Western Kentucky his next time out before throwing only an inning at Dallas Baptist.

(2016): Saw action in 21 games as a true freshman out of the JSU bullpen…made five starts, including three during Ohio Valley Conference weekends…made his Gamecock debut against Alabama State (3/2)…notched a win over SIU Edwardsville (3/12) after going three innings and allowing just one Cougar run on three hits…also recorded three strikeouts en route to the win…collected a second win against Oral Roberts (3/15)…pitched a clean 1.1 innings in the ORU contest…started against in-state rival Samford (3/29) and allowed a run on five hits in 3.2 innings of work...registered a quality start at Southern Illinois (4/3) after tossing 5.0 innings and posting five strikeouts…was solid in a Sunday start against Murray State (4/10) with season best eight strikeouts in six innings on the bump…his eight strikeouts was a season-high for a JSU pitcher…made starts at Tennessee Tech (4/17) and against Southeast Missouri (4/24)…finished with 29.0 innings pitched against OVC foes.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped four years at Buckhorn High under coaches Roger Wright and Travis Tate in Huntsville, Ala…former teammate of Vanderbilt’s Kyle Wright.

PERSONAL: Born on May 14, 1997 in Huntsville, Ala…the son of Craig and Patricia Farmer…has a younger brother, Hayden, and younger sister, Mallory…undecided on his major…superstitious about wearing game socks inside-out.
