HIGH SCHOOL: Played for his father, Rodney Lipscomb, at Ragland High School…was named first-team All-State for three straight years (2009, 2010, 2011)…was named team Most Valuable Player in 2009, 2010 and 2011…posted a 16-1 record with a 0.70 ERA and 207 strikeouts during his career…helped the Purple Devils post a 21-8 record his sophomore season, 21-9 as a junior and 22-9 as a senior…selected for the 2010 North-South All-Star game…named to The Anniston Star Diamond Dozen in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
