HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Kenny Morris at Newnan High School…was a four-year letterman…batted .381 as a senior with a .581 on-base percentage and drove in 37 runs after helping the Cougars post a 31-10 record…was a first-team All-District selection in 2011…honor student…member of National Honor Society.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Sanders Byrom Ferrell, II…son of Scott and Beverly Ferrell…born on July 19, 1993…lists the Atlanta Braves as his favorite Major League Team and Dustin Pedroia as his favorite player…majoring in Physical Education at JSU.
