2021: Saw action in a pair of games during his first season with the Red and White, including the season-opener at UAB.
PRIOR TO JSU: Spent the 2020 season as a redshirt freshman at the University of Illinois, where he played in two games for the Illini…transferred to Illinois from Mississippi State, where he redshirted the 2019 season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Alex Wilson at Huffman High School in Birmingham…rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN, was a second-team all-state selection by the Alabama Sports Writers Association in 2018…ESPN rated him the #33 recruit in the state of Alabama in 2019, when he was also rated the #56 offensive tackle in the nation.
PERSONAL: Born on January 6, 2001…the son of Beverly and Brantley Jones.
