JSU CAREER:
Fall 2021: Saw action in four games…rushed for 22 yards on a pair of carries in the season opener against UAB...carried the ball 10 times for a season-best 39 yards at Florida State on Sept. 11…also had four receptions against UAB and another versus UT Martin…finished the year with 60 yards rushing on 14 carries and nine receiving yards.
Fall 2020/Spring 2021: Appeared in 12 games in his first season with JSU... carried the ball 93 times for 369 yards and three touchdowns with his first score with the Gamecocks coming against Mercer in the only home game of the fall on October 10... his highest rushing day of the season came against UT-Martin on March 14 where he rushed 18 times for 87 yards with a long of 17 against the Skyhawks... also made six receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown coming on a 55-yard catch against Davidson in the first round of the FCS Playoffs on April 24 to finish the year with 471 all-purpose yards.
PRIOR TO JSU: Played two seasons at Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead, Miss…played in nine games in each his freshman and sophomore seasons…as a sophomore in 2019, ran for 887 yards on 171 carries, an average of 98.6 yards per game and 5.2 yards per carry…scored 10 career rushing touchdowns at MDCC, six as a freshman and four in his sophomore season…was also a weapon as a receiver, hauling in 20 passes, 12 as a sophomore…had one touchdown reception in each season and had over 200 receiving yards in his career
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Columbus High School in Columbus, Miss…was a four-year letter winner at running back that also played some as a slot receiver.
PERSONAL: Born on Jan. 27, 2000 in Valdosta, Ga…the son of Roddrick and Lila Jackson…has four brothers – Roddrick, Brian, Darick and Cedrick, and one sister – Brooke…majoring in kinesiology at JSU.
