JAX STATE CAREER:
2022: Saw action in all 11 games with place-kicking duties….finished the season 13-of-16 in field goals and tallied 37 points on PATs…was named the ASUN Special Teams Player of the Week three times, including the weekly honor after the North Alabama game at Toyota Field in Madison, Alabama…connected on four field goals in the contest, highlighted by a 50-yard kick…moved into fifth place on the program’s field goals-made list with 33 in his first three seasons as a Gamecock…also moved into Jax State’s top-10 list of PATs made with over 100…his four field goals and five PATS against North Alabama accounted for 17 points, breaking the school record for points in a game by kicking…also broke the school record for consecutive field goals made with 11.
2021: Handled JSU’s place kicking duties for a second-straight season in all 11 games…connected on seven of 12 field goal attempts…was perfect 28-28 on PAT’s…tied a career-long with a 46-yard kick against North Alabama on Sept. 18…also booted 37 of JSU’s 50 kickoffs…averaged 59.1 yard per kick with 22 touchbacks, including a pair at Florida State on Sept. 11…led JSU in scoring with 49 points thanks to seven field goals and 28 extra points.
FALL 2020/SPRING 2021: Appeared in all 13 contests throughout the fall and spring of his freshman season as the Gamecocks’ primary place kicker…went 45-for-47 on PAT’s while going 14-of-19 on field goal attempts to finish with 87 points on the season…had a career-high day in the upset victory over Florida International on October 23 going 4-of-5 on field goals with a long of 39 and kicking the game’s only extra point to finish with 13 points on the day…his longest field goal of the season came on a 46-yard boot against Eastern Illinois on April 3…also kicked off 58 times for 3,191 yards and 18 touchbacks averaging 55 yards a kick.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played his senior season for head coach Grant Reynolds at East Hamilton High School in Chattanooga, Tenn…didn’t play football prior to his senior season of high school…ranked a five-star and the No. 40 kicker in his class by the Kohl’s Kicking Camps after his senior season…earned the starting job for the Hurricanes in 2019 and finished the season as a semifinalist for the TSSAA Class 4A Mr. Football Award…a first-team all-region pick and named a Scenic City All-Star…invited to the Kicking World Showcase in the summer before his senior season…also a standout on the Hurricanes soccer team.
PERSONAL: Born on Dec. 12, 2001…the son of Maho and Edita Karajic…majoring in finance at JSU.
