JSU CAREER:
2011: Did not see action as a sophomore.

2010: Garnered playing time on special teams in all 12 games last season as a redshirt freshman…tallied three tackles on the season.

2009: Sat out the 2009 season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for John Hicks at Niceville High School…as a quarterback in 2008, he helped the Eagles set a school record with more than 2,600 yards of total offense…finished season with 986 passing yards and nine touchdowns…rushed for 468 yards and five touchdowns….as a junior, had 11 catches for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

PERSONAL: Full name is Rayce Patrick Whiddon…son of Paul and Lynn Whiddon…has two older brothers, Tommy Joe and John Houston…both his bothers played football at Jacksonville State and Tommy Joe is currently an assistant football coach at JSU, while John Houston finished his Gamecock career last season…major is undeclared at JSU.
