JSU CAREER:
2012: Saw action in seven games for the Gamecocks as a true freshman…recorded three tackles and one sack on the season…made his collegiate debut in the Gamecocks home opener against Chattanooga on Sept. 8 and recorded the first sack of his career…finished with two solo tackles in the Gamecocks 31-28 overtime victory over Tennessee State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Al Hughest at Lovejoy High School…was a four-year letterman…helped the Wildcats post a 10-1 record as a junior and the Wildcats went 14-1 as a senior…was named all-region…turned in four interceptions as a senior…honor student at LHS.

PERSONAL: Full name is Dushonta Devoil Broughton…born on Aug. 4, 1994, in Atlanta, Ga…son of Dushonta Broughton, Sr. and Vanekia Wingfield…has four sisters, Amber, Taylor, Kimberly and Makenzie…majoring in biology at JSU.
