2009 OUTLOOK: A junior college transfer that is six-foot-four and has a big arm…shows signs of being outstanding defensively and offensively…expected to play a key role on the infield this season.

SUMMER BASEBALL: Played for the El Dorado Broncos of the Jayhawk League…batted .257 with 12 doubles and 14 runs scored…had a .355 on-base percentage and a .371 slugging average in 2008.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played for Dave Burroughs at Cowley County Community College in 2008 and at Seminole State Junior College in 2007…helped Cowley County to the Jayhawk East Championship with a 40-19 record in 2008… batted .445 with eight home runs and 57 RBI to earn first-team Jayhawk East honors and was an All-Jayhawk first-team selection as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Kevin Wilson at Byng High School…was a four-year letterman…was named first-team All-Region as a junior and senior…batted .480 with 12 home runs and 54 RBI has a senior to earn All-Area honors after helping the Pirates post a 30-3 record…also lettered in basketball, where he was a first-team honoree his senior year.

PERSONAL: Full name is Daniel Heath Wall…son of Danny and Julie Wall…born on March 27, 1988…has two younger brothers, Reid and Gage…lists the St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite team…majoring in Business at JSU.
