SUMMER BASEBALL: Played for the Santa Maria Valley Packers in 2010…played for the So Cal Bombers of the Western Baseball Association in 2009…played for American Legion Post 755 for Tom Quinley in 2008 and helped team to the California State Championship.
 
JSU CAREER:
 
(2011) Made 15 appearances with 14 starts as a junior and was named second-team All-Ohio Valley Conference…posted a 7-3 overall record with a 3.78 ERA, with 71 strikeouts to just 16 walks in 88.0 innings…earned his first start of the season at UAB (3/1) where he pitched six innings and allowed just four hits and had six strikeouts…earned his first win on 3/6 vs Harvard, pitching 5.1 innings, scattering six hits and recording six strikeouts…also picked up wins against Southern Illinois (3/13), Bucknell (3/19), Tennessee Tech (4/2), Murray State (4/9), SIU-Edwardsville (4/30) and Morehead State (5/20)…had a season-high 10 strikeouts vs Austin Peay (4/16)…was named the OVC Pitcher of the Week after allowing just six hits and zero earned runs with six strikeouts in an 8-2 win over Tennessee Tech (4/2).
 
(2010) Made 14 appearances with five starts as a sophomore...went 2-1 with a 8.19 ERA, 19 strikeouts and seven walks in 29.2 innings...posted wins against Eastern Kentucky (5/16) and Morehead State (5/22), recording a season-high three strikeouts in both games...earned his first career win after pitching a season-high 5.2 innings against Eastern Kentucky (5/16)...did not a allow a run in five his 14 appearances.
 
(2009) As a true freshman, appeared in seven games and did not have a decision…tossed 12.1 innings, allowing 17 hits, 14 runs with 10 strikeouts and six walks…made his Gamecock debut at Appalachian State on 2/22, where he pitched 2.2 innings and had three strikeouts and allowed only one hit…had his longest outing of the year vs Alabama State, where he went 3.0 innings…had his best game during the OVC Tournament, where he pitched two solid innings, not allowing a hit and recording two strikeouts vs Tennessee Tech on 25 pitches.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Darren Murphy at Northview High School…was named the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division IV co-Player of the Year in 2008 after leading the Vikings to their first CIF State Championship since 1971…was a first-team All-CIF selection as a senior after posting a perfect 12-0 record with a 1.20 earned run average…was a two-time first-team All-Valley selection and was a second-team All-League selection in 2006…was named the Most Valuable Player for the Glendora Tournament in 2008 after helping team to the championship…was selected to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune All-Star team of 2008…was an honor student.
 
PERSONAL: Full name is Aaron DanielElias…son of Gerald and Lisa Elias…born on May 31, 1990…has one younger sister, Jenny, and two younger brothers, Ryan and Chris…lists the Los Angeles Dodgers as his favorite Major League team and Derek Lowe as his favorite player…majoring in Criminal Justice at JSU.
